Capitals' T.J. Oshie: Sitting out finale
Oshie will not play in the team's regular-season finale Sunday against the Panthers, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Analysis:
Oshie will simply get a day of rest Sunday and should be back in action for the team's first playoff game. The electric winger finishes 2016-17 with 56 points (career-high 33 goals, 23 assists) on 143 shots while posting a career-best plus-28 rating.
