Bruins' Tuukka Rask: Comes up short in shootout against Senators

Rask stopped 25 of 26 shots Thursday, but he allowed the only goal of the shootout in a 2-1 loss to the Senators.

Analysis:

You can't blame Rask for this one, as he played terrifically but got precious little help from his offense against a similarly terrific Craig Anderson. If anyone should be blamed, it's Brad Marchand, who's taken a huge offensive threat out of Boston's lineup by getting suspended for spearing. These two teams have been jockeying for position in the playoffs; the B's are now a point behind Ottawa for second in the Atlantic Division, and they have only one game left to the Senators' two. They'll finish off their regular season at home against the best team in the league, the Capitals, on Saturday.
