Avalanche's Calvin Pickard: Starting in net against Minnesota

Analysis:

Pickard has won just two of his last eight starts, allowing fewer than three goals in just one game during that span. Arguably his worst performance over that stretch came Sunday against Minnesota, when he allowed four goals on just 16 shots through less than two periods. Combine that with the fact that the Wild are averaging 3.05 goals per game on the road, and the 24-year-old makes for a weak fantasy play Thursday.
