Predators' P.K. Subban: Tallies empty-netter versus Wild

Subban scored an empty-netter, posted a plus-2 rating and recorded two shots in 25:34 during a 3-0 victory against the Wild on Saturday.

Analysis:

This has to feel good for Subban owners, who have seen the 27-year-old turn in some subpar outings of late. The goal was just his second point in the last nine games. While his shooting percentage is above his career average, Subban is taking fewer shots and owns a minus-3 rating. It could be worse, but it's very unlikely the No. 1 defensemen is fulfilling the high expectations he had coming into the season.
