Ducks' John Gibson: Starting in divisional matchup

Gibson will be stopping the pucks Saturday in Edmonton, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Gibson has been battling a lower-body injury and hasn't played since a stopping 31 of 35 shots in a loss to St. Louis on March 10. This has been the Gibson's best season yet, as he's recording a .921 save percentage and a 2.07 GAA in 49 appearances. He'll have his hands full in this matchup, though, facing an Oilers team that average 2.9 goals per game, which is good for 10th in the league. Gibson will face his fair share of rubber, and it will be interesting to see how he responds.
