Flyers' Steve Mason: Prevails in shootout for third straight win

Mason stopped 24 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout victory over the Flyers.

Analysis:

He went unbeaten on three shootout attempts, locking down his third consecutive win. All three have been impressive -- the Wild, Penguins and Senators are all formidable opponents. Of course, runs like this have been the exception for Mason rather than the rule, so he's made it's hard to trust his hot streaks. That's not good news for a guy who'll be looking for a new contract this offseason.
