Penguins' Chad Ruhwedel: Dealing with upper-body injury
Ruhwedel was sidelined for practice Tuesday and is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
Analysis:
Ruhwedel joins the walking wounded on the Pens' blue line as the fifth defenseman suffering from some kind of malady. The 26-year-old has garnered eight points in 29 outings this season, but his inability to consistently crack the game-day lineup makes him a low-end fantasy option. If the 26-year-old can't give it a go against Chicago on Wednesday, Pittsburgh will likely recall some depth from the minors, with Derrick Pouliot and Tim Erixon the leading candidates.
