Byfuglien (undisclosed) was present on the team plane as it traveled to New Jersey on Monday.

Analysis:

Byfuglien has skipped each of the team's last two contests because of the undisclosed ailment, but his presence on the flight for a one-game road trip would suggest he has a chance at rejoining the lineup Tuesday. The offensive-minded blueliner's status should be updated again on game day, but his return would certainly be a shot in the arm to both the Jets and fantasy owners.
