Ducks' Clayton Stoner: Expected back soon

Stoner (abdomen) is expected to rejoin the team during its four-game road trip, Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Analysis:

For now, Stoner remains with AHL San Diego on his long-term conditioning assignment, but fantasy owners should certainly be encouraged by this news. The blueliner last appeared in an NHL contest on Nov. 15, but did hit the ice for a pair of outings with the Gulls during this stint. Once given the all-clear, Stoner will likely bounce Korbinian Holzer from the 23-man roster.
