Penguins' Jake Guentzel: Practices in non-contact uni

Guentzel (concussion) joined teammates on the ice Sunday, but sported a non-contact jersey while doing so, Dave Molinari of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

It's pretty safe to assume his non-contact jersey rules him out for Sunday's contest as he recovers from a concussion, but he's making progress. Once he sheds the non-contact uniform and is cleared to go, the winger could be safely utilized in both season-long and daily formats, with Wednesday against Chicago appearing to be the earliest return date at this point.
