Canucks' Jack Skille: Injures ankle in matinee

Skille sustained an ankle injury in Saturday's matinee contest against the Wild and will not return.

Analysis:

Skille was trying to control the puck along the side boards when Charlie Coyle plastered him with a hard check and then the two forwards appeared to get tangled up a bit. Hopefully for Skille -- a former Wisconsin Badger -- the injury doesn't turn out to be a serious issue, especially with the Canucks going right back to work in Winnipeg on Sunday.
