Lightning's Jason Garrison: Out with injury Friday

Garrison (lower body) will not play Friday's away game against the Red Wings and is considered day-to-day, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Analysis:

With just one point in his last 11 contests, Garrison doesn't provide enough offensive upside from the blue line to be a suitable option in most fantasy formats. It remains to be seen as to who will take Garrison's spot on the second defensive pairing, but Braydon Coburn seems to be as good a candidate as any.
