Kings' Drew Doughty: Finally lights the lamp

After going 26 games without scoring a goal, Doughty scored a power-play goal Thursday against the Jets.

Analysis:

It was Doughty's first goal since Jan. 21, as he unleashed a bomb from the point that went untouched and straight past Mark Stuart and Connor Hellebucyk. It was Doughty's ninth of the season, which is in line with his career average despite the lengthy goal drought, and with 41 points this season he's now registered his third straight 40-point season. What's most impressive is his plus-3 rating even though the Kings have a minus-3 goal differential. Given his ability to provide fantasy owners with hits and blocked shots, Doughty remains one of the league's top fantasy defensemen.
