Galchenyuk snaps 9-game goalless skid with 2-on-1 snipe

Alex Galchenyuk got the monkey off his back Thursday.

The Montreal Canadiens forward finished off a pretty two-on-one rush with Andrew Shaw, beating Carolina's Eddie Lack with a devastating wrist shot, snapping a nine-game goalless skid in the process.

The goal was Galchenyuk's 16th of the season giving him a share of third place on the Canadiens.
