Canadiens' Carey Price: Status uncertain against Hurricanes

According to coach Claude Julien, Price is dealing with a "very minor" injury that leaves his status versus Carolina on Thursday up in the air, Arpon Basu of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Price was given the night off Tuesday while Al Montoya got the starting nod against Detroit, but he may need additional time before he's ready to go. With the playoffs just around the corner, one would imagine the Canadiens would play it safe and rest the 29-year-old if there were any indication that he wasn't 100 percent.
