Murray stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 3-1 victory over the Sabres on Tuesday.

Analysis:

He made several strong saves (on 19 shots) during the first 40 minutes, helping Pittsburgh to a 1-0 advantage. Murray had given up four goals in three of four starts prior to Tuesday, adding further importance to his bounce-back game. The ability to play well after a poor performance has separated Murray from other tenders thus far in his short NHL career, and it's no small reason for the fact that the Penguins have now secured a playoff spot.
