Panthers' Roberto Luongo: Needs more time to recover

Luongo (lower body) skated Tuesday and hopes to play again this season, but he'll require a few more practices under his belt to make that a reality, the Sun-Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Coach Tom Rowe's tentative assessment of Luongo's potential return does not translate well for fantasy owners -- as it stands now, even if the veteran keeper does return this season, it will likely only be for the final few games. Between that shaky timeline and his less-than-stellar stat line (.915 save percentage and 2.68 GAA), Luongo is not a recommended fantasy play in most formats.
