Jets' Michael Hutchinson: Gets rare start

Analysis:

Hutchinson has just three relief appearances since his last start in goal on Jan. 16, in which he was rocked for four goals on 31 shots by San Jose. It seems the netminder earned this opportunity by going 13-for-13 in relief on Sunday on his way to just his fifth win of the season. The 27-year-old will have his hands full versus Philadelphia, which is averaging 31.4 shots per game -- fifth in the league.
