Capitals' Braden Holtby: Gets the start Tuesday

Holtby will guard the crease Tuesday against the Flames, Tarik El-Bashir of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

Tuesday will mark the 300th game Holtby has played with the Capitals, becoming just the second player in franchise history to do so. More impressive is the fact that the Saskatchewan native is second only to Hall of Fame goaltender Ken Dryden in terms of wins earned in the first 300 games with 185. In the midst of another Vezina-worthy campaign, he should be started in all formats even against a hot (pun intended) Flames team.
