Sharks' Chris Tierney: Dealing with flu

Tierney did not dress Monday against the Stars as he is dealing with the flu, Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area reports.

Analysis:

Tierney is a fixture in the Sharks' lineup -- having played in 71 games this year -- but he's only managed a paltry 18 points and 77 shots on goal with an average ice time of 14:37. Assuming his ailment isn't that serious, he could return Tuesday in Minnesota, but if not, Friday's road date with the Stars would be his next opportunity to suit up.
