Senators' Mike Condon: Appears to be Saturday's starter vs. former team

Condon is expected to start in goal Saturday night versus the Canadiens.

Analysis:

Senators coach Guy Boucher said that he'd let Craig Anderson (lower body) decide if he's healthy enough to start Saturday, but it's suddenly leaning toward Condon, despite TSN's Brent Wallace noting that it was Anderson assuming the starter's net at the game-day skate. Remember, Condon has familiarity with the Habs, having appeared in 55 games with Montreal last season. While the peripheral numbers aren't the greatest with Ottawa (2.52 GAA, .914 save percentage), Condon's improved upon his rookie campaign and has five shutouts. Expect another update on Condon if the Senators make another unexpected switch ahead of Saturday's rivalry match.
