Coyotes' Shane Doan: Doubtful to play Saturday

Doan (lower body) has been classified as day-to-day, but is considered doubtful for Saturday's game against the Blues, Sarah McLellan of the Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

While coach Dave Tippett wouldn't go as far as ruling Doan out completely, it seems unlikely at this point that the veteran forward will be able to suit up Saturday. The injury comes at an inopportune time for Doan too, as he was riding a two-game assist streak before going down.
