Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Out with upper-body injury Friday

Malkin has an upper-body injury and will not play Friday night, when the Penguins host the Devils.

Analysis:

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan broke the bad news around the time of the team's morning skate. "Geno will not be available for tonight," he said. "He has been dealing with an upper-body injury for a while. We will know more soon." We wouldn't panic too much until more information is revealed, but this obviously sends shock waves through fantasy pools. Malkin is currently fifth in the NHL with 72 points (33 goals, 39 assists) in 62 games.
