Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist: Sets timeline to return

The Rangers are hoping to get Lundqvist back during their California road trip, which kicks off March 25 against Los Angeles, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Lundqvist was originally expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks, and he appears to be trending toward the shorter end of that timeline. Despite the injury and a mid-January benching, King Henrik has been on top of his game this season -- he's reached 30 wins for the 11th time in his 12-year career, with the lone exception coming in the lockout-shortened 2012-13 campaign. While he remains out, Antti Raanta will continue to serve as the starter, with the recently recalled Magnus Hellberg potentially picking up starts in New York's upcoming back-to-backs.
