Hurricanes' Eddie Lack: Starting Thursday against Minnesota

Lack will guard the cage in Thursday's home game against the Wild, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.

Analysis:

Lack has been inconsistent at best in limited action this season, compiling a 3-5-2 record while registering a subpar 2.97 GAA and .886 save percentage over 12 appearances. It's hard to imagine Lack faring much better in this matchup, as he'll be drawing into a home game against a Wild team that's averaging an impressive 3.20 goals per game on the road, second in the NHL.
