Penguins' Matt Murray: Makes just 24 stops in loss to Flyers
Murray allowed four goals on 28 shots during Wednesday's loss to Philadelphia.
Analysis:
Not only has the Penguins' blue line been dealing with multiple injuries, Pittsburgh entered Wednesday's game allowing the second-most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (12.18) at five-on-five over its past 10 games. Murray's play began to lag during that span with a .919 save percentage and 2.61 GAA, and Wednesday's showing was further disappointing. The 22-year-old netminder shouldn't be discounted in any setting yet, but if Pittsburgh doesn't right the defensive ship, Murray's fantasy upside isn't as high.
