Kings' Ben Bishop: Plays well in loss

Bishop allowed two goals on 23 shots before falling, 3-2, in a shootout to the visiting Coyotes on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Even though he's winless in three starts with his new club, Bishop played well in this one. He was simply outdueled at the other end of the rink by Louis Domingue, who put on his best brick-wall impression with 44 saves before winning an 11-round shootout battle. Nonetheless, Bishop is 0-1-2 as a King with a lackluster 2.60 GAA and .904 save percentage, and he'll likely remain a distant No. 2 behind Jonathan Quick.
