Blackhawks' Corey Crawford: Able to finish out Tuesday's victory

Crawford was drilled in the mask by a slap shot in Tuesday's game against the Canadiens, but he was allowed to continue and finish the game, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Analysis:

Crawford was hit in the mask right between the eyes by a Shea Weber slapper, falling backward to the ice and appearing woozy for a moment. After a brief visit from trainers, he remained in the game. He allowed just two goals on 42 shots, improving to 7-0-2 lifetime against the Habs.
