Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Out 7-10 days

Ekblad (concussion) will be sidelined approximately 7-to-10 days, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Unless he makes an extremely quick turnaround, it's probably safe to assume that he will not travel with the team for its three-game road trip that runs through Sunday, making his earliest possible return date next Tuesday at home against Carolina. More information on his progress should surface as he draws closer to rejoining the lineup.
