Ducks' John Gibson: Taken off injured reserve

Gibson (lower body) is no longer listed on injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site.

Analysis:

Although Gibson is still projected to miss Friday night's game against the Blues, it's certainly intriguing that the team chose to remove him from IR now instead of before Sunday's matchup with the Capitals. Don't expect him to play Friday, but this move indicates he is much more likely to play Sunday.
