Predators' Pekka Rinne: Suffers overtime loss

Rinne allowed three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings on Thursday.

Analysis:

It's now been three starts in a row without a win for the Finnish netminder, who's dropped his last two in overtime and a shootout. He hasn't been terrible during that span, as evidenced by his .922 save percentage, but owners would obviously prefer if his solid performances amounted to notches in the win column. Nonetheless, Rinne is now 25-16-8 with a 2.55 GAA and .915 save percentage on the season, and will continue to receive the vast majority of starts down the stretch.
