Avalanche's Calvin Pickard: Delivers second straight win

Pickard turned away 25 of 27 shots Thursday, good for a 3-2 home win against the Devils.

Analysis:

That's two wins in a row for Pickard on the heels of a four-game losing skid, and although they haven't come against the most impressive of opponents (New Jersey and Carolina), his fantasy owners will surely take that positive happily. While he has a lot of potential, Pickard has been a tough own this year for the league-worst Avs; even though he's shown improved play over his last eight games -- a 2.41 GAA and .927 save mark -- he's just 3-4-1 in that span.
