Panthers' Roberto Luongo: Still 1-2 weeks away from returning

Head coach Tom Rowe told reporters Luongo (lower body) "didn't feel great" after his brief workout Wednesday and is still a week or two away from returning to game action, George Richards of the Miami Herald reports.

Analysis:

Rowe also stated that the Panthers aren't going to rush Luongo back into the lineup, which suggests the 37-year-old goaltender may not be deployed until there are just a few games left in the regular season. James Reimer will continue to shoulder the load in goal while Luongo is sidelined.
