Predators' Pekka Rinne: Facing pucks from Ducks

Rinne will defend the net for Tuesday night's game in Anaheim, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Juuse Saros has been eating into Rinne's playing time a bit, but the youngster hasn't done enough to earn the starter's role, so the veteran will continue to maintain that role for the time being. Despite a 3-1-0 record over his last four starts, Rinne hasn't been especially sharp, allowing 12 goals and registering a .893 save percentage. He'll try to reverse the trend against a Ducks squad that currently ranks 19th in the NHL with 2.71 goals per game at home.
