Stars' Dan Hamhuis: Logs under 20 minutes for third consecutive game

Hamhuis logged just 19:30 of ice time during Monday's loss to Washington, and it was the third straight outing he logged fewer than 20 minutes.

Analysis:

While the 34-year-old veteran has long been a better real-world player than fantasy asset, at this stage of his career, Hamhuis is hardly worth considering in most virtual settings. He entered Monday's game with a solid 52.5 Corsi For percentage at five-on-five, but with just 15 points through 64 games, his lack of offensive production keeps him off the fantasy grid. Additionally, with Dallas all but officially out of the playoffs, there is plenty of incentive for the Stars to take a closer look at their younger blueliners at the cost of Hamhuis' ice time.
