Canucks' Ryan Miller: Puts on clinic to dethrone Kings

Miller stopped 41 of 44 shots in Saturday's win over Los Angeles.

Analysis:

Miller was excellent on the night, earning first star honors as he picked up his first victory in five games. The Kings piled on the pressure after rallying from a deficit, but Miller ensured they never ended up tying it. The playoffs seem unlikely for Vancouver at this point, especially when you consider the Canucks dealt two veteran forwards at the trade deadline, but Miller should still see plenty of action down the stretch. The 36-year-old is sporting a .916 save percentage and should continue to post decent rate stats -- just don't expect too many more victories.
