Penguins' Kris Letang: Sitting out longer than expected

Letang (upper body) was deemed by head coach Mike Sullivan as "longer than day to day," but shouldn't miss an extended period, Dave Molinari of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

The 29-year-old blueliner has already missed four games due to his injury, and he will likely miss another week. Letang had a hot February, scoring a goal and notching 10 assists over 10 games. There is no clear timeline for Letang's return, but the Penguins and his fantasy owners definitely miss the production he had beforehand.
