Senators' Alex Burrows: Skates on top line in practice

Burrows worked with Mike Hoffman and Kyle Turris on the team's top scoring line in practice Wednesday, Gord Wilson of TSN 1200 reports.

Analysis:

The new acquisition is getting a golden opportunity in Canada's capital city, skating with two very talented forwards. His goal production has dropped dramatically in recent seasons, but perhaps a change of scenery will give him renewed confidence. Burrows will likely see plenty of time on the power-play unit, too, making him a nice short-term add in fantasy pools until Bobby Ryan (finger) is able to return.
