Devils' Cory Schneider: Suffers second consecutive overtime loss

Schneider saved just 29 of 33 shots during Monday's overtime loss to Montreal.

Analysis:

The Devils limited Montreal to just 16 shots through the first two periods of the game, and Schneider saved them all. It quickly slipped downhill from there, though. Schneider allowed four goals on the next 17 shots and lost his third consecutive game and second straight in overtime. It's been a disastrous fantasy campaign, and easily the worst of Schneider's career since becoming an NHL regular. Additionally, after posting a .941 save percentage and 1.87 GAA through seven starts, Schneider has now allowed eight goals over his past two outings.
