Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Expected to start Monday

Vasilevskiy is the expected starter for Monday's game against the Senators, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Analysis:

The newly acquired Peter Budaj reportedly is scheduled to join the team Monday afternoon, but it's Vasilevskiy who's expected to get the nod between the pipes. The Russian netminder should be afforded a legitimate shot at the starter's role with Ben Bishop traded away, but Budaj has been so good with the Kings this year that he'll give Vasi a serious run for his money.
