Blues' Magnus Paajarvi: Provides lift in Sunday's loss

Paajarvi scored a goal and had four shots on net over 14:26 of ice time in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Analysis:

Paajarvi took advantage of a Chicago turnover in its own zone to give St. Louis a lift in the first period after they had fallen behind by two goals. He's been placed in a top-9 role and has delivered four points (three goals, one assist) over eight games since being called up in early February. Speed is his calling card, but until now he hasn't made an impact offensively. With Robby Fabbri (knee) done for the season, the Blues need one of their minor leaguers to step up and Paajarvi is doing that right now.
