Capitals' Philipp Grubauer: Gets the nod Saturday

Analysis:

After Braden Holtby got the start Friday against the Oilers, Grubauer will get his shot against the Predators. Being a backup to a Vezina winner, the 25-year-old doesn't get many starts, but when he does, he makes them count. Over his eight starts in 2017, Grubauer has a 4-3-1 record, complemented by an impressive .931 save percentage and a 2.12 GAA. It should be a tough matchup against a playoff-hungry Predators team, but Grubauer appears up to the challenge.
