Hurricanes' Bryan Bickell: Sent to minors for conditioning

Bickell (illness) was assigned to AHL Charlotte for the purpose of conditioning, John Dietz of the Daily Herald reports.

Analysis:

Bickell is slated to see his first game action Saturday night since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in November. The 30-year-old isn't likely to make a big fantasy impact or even help his team make the playoffs, but it would sure be an unbelievable thing to see him come back in the same season.
