Islanders' Shane Prince: Returns to practice Friday

Prince (upper body) returned to practice Friday, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Prince was placed on injured reserve Wednesday as the Islanders needed the roster spot. The team is hopeful that he can return to game action Saturday in Columbus, but with four days off before they play again, the Islanders could elect to play it safe and keep him off the ice.
