Blue Jackets' Joonas Korpisalo: Shuffles back to NHL

Korpisalo was called up to the Blue Jackets on Friday, Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Korpisalo trades places on the depth chart with Anton Forsberg in what has been a recurring theme for a Columbus team slowly fading down the ranks of an ultra-competitive Metropolitan Division. Sergei Bobrovsky has a tight grip on the starting job in goal, but Korpisalo is at least an option to give him a breather since he's been pried away from the minor-league club. The second-year tender has managed four wins in six outings despite an underwhelming .902 save percentage in that span.
