Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: To remain with team after clearing waivers

Zatkoff is expected to remain with the Kings after clearing waivers Wednesday, LA Kings Insider reports.

Analysis:

There was some talk of the Kings recalling Jack Campbell to serve as Peter Budaj's backup as they await the return of Jonathan Quick, but Zatkoff will remain with the Kings for now. His days are numbered with Quick expected back in early-to-mid March, however, and Zatkoff won't carry any fantasy value in the interim with Budaj firmly entrenched as the team's starting netminder.
