Bruins' Zac Rinaldo: Missing remainder of season

Rinaldo will undergo surgery to repair a hand injury, effectively ending his season, Mark Divver of The Providence Journal reports.

Analysis:

The former Flyer has never been a big scorer, tallying just nine goals and 27 points in a 275-game NHL career. Rinaldo will be an unrestricted free agent upon the conclusion of the season, and it's hard to see him finding another home in the NHL if he's unable to develop anything in addition to the physical aspect of his game.
