Flames' Brian Elliott: Tending twine Thursday

Elliott will be between the posts for Thursday night's road game against the Lightning.

Analysis:

After a rocky start to the season, Elliott has seemingly completely reclaimed the starting role and will make his fifth consecutive start Thursday. Even when the 31-year-old isn't on top of his game, the hot Flames offense is able to bail him out on occasion -- they just claimed victory from the jaws of defeat Tuesday. Elliott will look to make it two in a row against a resilient Tampa Bay squad that's averaging 2.73 goals per game.
