Canadiens' Andrew Shaw: Snaps drought in Tuesday's win

Shaw scored a goal on two shots, adding one hit and a two-minute penalty over 15:45 of ice time in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Rangers.

Analysis:

Shaw hadn't put one past a goalie in a stretch of 10 games since Jan. 24 before his wraparound beat New York's Henrik Lundqvist. It was a good sequence for Shaw, who earlier in the shift made a nice play to keep the puck inside the Rangers' zone. Since returning from a knee injury 17 games ago, Shaw has made more headlines for his dumb penalties than his offensive contributions (two goals, three assists).
