Blackhawks' Corey Crawford: Bailed out by offense again
Crawford made 29 saves in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Wild.
Analysis:
Despite being beaten by Mikael Granlund on both opposing power play opportunities, Crawford helped pull his team within five points of the Central Division-leading Wild. Much of his support came from a Jonathan Toews hat trick, as Chicago's high-powered offense led Crawford to his fifth victory in six games. Scott Darling has posted better stats, but the experienced veteran continues to be the go-to guy in net for the Blackhawks.
